About this experience
Lace up your boots and head into the Knuckles Range on this private 2-day camping trail. You walk through rural villages, push up to the peak of the Knuckles massif, and duck into the hidden cave of Alugallena before pitching camp in the tropical wilderness. Basic tents, hiking charges, and four meals are all covered — so your pack stays light where it counts.
Day two brings a morning hike down to the nearest village, a browse of its small local shop, and a scenic hour-long bus ride out to Theldeniya. Public transport is included throughout. Pack a raincoat — the mountain weather shifts quickly — and bring warm layers, a torch, and your own toiletries. Minimum age is 13. Lakpura organises this as a fully private experience.
