About this experience
Walk into the forested mountain range of Ritigala and spend two hours in the company of a knowledgeable guide who knows exactly where to look. The trail winds through dense evergreens, past ancient ruins, and alongside clearings where a flash of bright plumage or the flick of a tail rewards your patience. This is a private activity, so the pace is yours — stop, listen, and scan the canopy at will. Children aged five and above are welcome.
Your guide provides running commentary on the birds you spot and the wider wildlife that calls Ritigala home. The hike itself is included, as is expert birding advice throughout.
