Arriving in Sri Lanka
Most international visitors to Sri Lanka land at Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake, about 35 km north of Colombo. The beach town of Negombo is only 15 to 20 minutes away, which makes it an easy first or last night, and the expressways run on to Colombo and the south coast. Most nationalities need an Electronic Travel Authorization before departure; see our Sri Lanka visa guide.
Lakpura arranges airport transfers from every Sri Lankan airport, with a driver waiting in arrivals and the pick-up time adjusted to your actual landing.
