Ella Uda Ella Falls is a captivating waterfall located near Ella town in Sri Lanka’s Uva Province. Nestled within the scenic hills of the central highlands, the falls cascade gracefully into a shallow, rocky pool, offering a tranquil and photogenic setting just a short distance from the famous Nine Arch Bridge.
The waterfall originates from a mountain stream that descends over a tiered rock face, creating a picturesque drop of approximately 10–12 meters. The surrounding area is richly vegetated, hosting native flora and a chorus of birdlife, making it a peaceful spot for nature lovers.
Visiting Ella Uda Ella Falls involves a pleasant walk through tea plantations and forest paths. The accessible trail and modest drop make it suitable for families and casual hikers.
