About this experience
Skip the ticket queue at Horton Plains and head straight onto the trails. Your entrance ticket and English-speaking guide are arranged in advance by Lakpura, so you arrive ready to walk. The park sits at roughly 2,100 metres above sea level on Sri Lanka's central plateau — bring a light jacket, as the temperature drops sharply even in the dry season. The trail to World's End, a sheer cliff with a 870-metre drop, and Baker's Falls takes around 3 hours 30 minutes to complete at a comfortable pace.
Your guide leads you through the montane grasslands, pointing out sambar deer, purple-faced langurs, and endemic bird species along the route. Minimum age for this activity is 5 years. Note that transport to and from the park gate, food, drinks, and gratuities are not included — arrange your own transfer to the entrance before the tour begins.

Horton Plains National Park - Discover Sri Lanka Tours.
Horton Plains is a beautiful national park with cool weather, scenic hiking trails, and breathtaking landscapes. World's End is an unforgettable viewpoint and well worth the walk.

Not entirely worth it
The views in the park are nice, but "World's end" was extremely underwhelming. I'm not sure it justifies the long ride and high park entry cost
