Ancient Nutra Activated Carbon is a herbal supplement of activated charcoal powder made from coconut shells (Cocos nucifera), packed in vegetarian capsules. The white tub is labelled "Activated Charcoal" and holds 60 capsules.
Activated charcoal is a fine, odourless black powder. It is made by heating carbon-rich material, here coconut shell, to a high temperature, which leaves it very porous.

How to use
The maker's directions: one capsule after a meal, twice a day, taken occasionally rather than every day. Activated charcoal binds other substances, so the maker says to leave at least two hours between it and any other supplement or prescription.
Ask a doctor before use if you are pregnant, nursing or on any prescription.
Storage
Close the lid tightly and keep the tub in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
