In Throw Me Mountains, Nayomi Apsara contemplates the place of the human being in the cosmos. Her imagination traverses worlds within and without, exploring questions of love, desire, loss and isolation. Many of the poems are deeply introspective, while some reflect on historical events and the present context.
Throw Me Mountains invites the reader to listen to the silences, to be still and to witness life.
