Lagoon Kayaking Tour from Negombo

Climb into a two-person kayak and paddle through the calm, brackish waters of Negombo Lagoon on this private two-hour guided tour. Your qualified guide leads you into the lagoon's mangrove channels, pointing out the dense root systems that shelter the ecosystem and the birdlife that nests among them. Along the way you pass traditional fishing boats and nets — a working waterscape that has defined this coastline for generations. All kayak and paddling equipment is provided, and an introductory session before launch ensures you're comfortable on the water regardless of experience. Minimum age is 12 years.

This is a private activity, so the pace and focus are yours to set with your guide. Note that hotel pick-up, drop-off, food, and drinks are not included, so arrange your own transport to the departure point and bring water for the paddle. Gratuities for your guide are optional but appreciated.
