Renowned among tea connoisseurs, Court Lodge is an iconic, historic estate that began in the 1880s as a coffee plantation before converting entirely to tea in the early 1900s. Lying at over 5,000 feet in the misty Nuwara Eliya tea region, at the very top of Sri Lanka's central mountain massif, the monsoon winds blow twice a year and imbue the teas produced here with a unique floral aroma. The estate variety that selected is a curly well rolled Pekoe, which brews to a wonderful amber infusion that's light bodied and full of character.
