Om denne oplevelse
Lace up your boots and set off from Thangappuwa village on a 5.5-kilometre uphill hike to Kota Ganga Ella Falls, deep in the Knuckles Mountain Range. Your private, English-speaking guide leads the way through forest trails — essential on a route where the path is far from obvious. The full day out runs to 10 hours, so expect a proper workout; minimum age is 12. A backup vehicle stands by for emergencies, so you're covered if the legs give out.
Lunch, refreshments, and energy slabs are included to keep you fuelled on the climb, along with a first-aid kit and all entrance tickets. Getting yourself to the Knuckles trailhead is your own arrangement, and gratuities are at your discretion. Book through Lakpura and the logistics on the trail are handled — you just focus on the waterfall at the end.
