It is the opening book of a graded series intended to take a learner through the basics of Tamil in a short span of study.
Buyers outside Sri Lanka should note that the text is entirely in Sinhala and Tamil. Instruction, explanation and exercises are given in Sinhala, with the Tamil being taught; there is no English in the book. It will be of use to someone who already reads Sinhala and wants to add Tamil, and of little use to anyone who does not.
