About this experience
Your private, nine-hour coastal excursion departs directly from your hotel in Panadura. An English-speaking chauffeur guide collects you in an air-conditioned vehicle and heads south along Sri Lanka's shoreline. En route, you board a boat for a safari through the Madu Ganga — a tranquil river estuary threaded with mangroves and island temples. A water bottle is provided per person to keep you refreshed along the way.
The route continues to Galle, where you step inside the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Dutch Fort — one of the best-preserved colonial fortifications in Asia. Wander the ramparts, cobbled streets, and centuries-old bastions at your own pace with your guide on hand. Entrance tickets, meals, and gratuities are not included. The vehicle returns you to your Panadura hotel to close out the day.
