Black seeds powder from Bowatte is ground from black seed (Nigella sativa), known in Sinhala as kaladuru. It is a single ingredient with nothing added, a dark powder with a peppery, slightly bitter, onion-like taste.

How it is used
- Blended into smoothies or warm milk
- Stirred into yoghurt or morning oats
- A pinch mixed with honey and warm water or lemon juice
- Sprinkled on salads, soups and stir-fries, or added to bread and curry
The maker suggests 1 to 3 g a day.

Storage
