About this experience
Board your private vehicle and set off on an eight-day loop through Sri Lanka's most rewarding landscapes. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide leads you to the rock fortress of Sigiriya, the cave temples of Dambulla, and a cart ride through Hiriwaduna village before the jeeps roll into Minneriya National Park for the famous elephant gathering. In Matale, step into a spice and herbal garden and taste fresh cinnamon, cardamom, and pepper straight from the source. Kandy brings a classical dance show and a quiet walk around the Temple of the Tooth Relic — the sacred heart of Sri Lanka's last kingdom.
The final stretch trades lowland heat for cool hill air. Stroll a working tea plantation, tour a tea factory, and sip a fresh brew with the mist still on the leaves. The route then drops to the coast: watch rescued sea turtles at the hatchery and wind down with a king coconut in hand as the sun sets over Galle's old colonial ramparts. Transport, fuel, parking, highway tolls, your chauffeur guide, taxes, and two 500 ml water bottles per person per day are all included. Hotel accommodation, meals, and entrance fees are arranged separately.
