A number of 7 unique and exclusive suites are available at the Reef Villa & Spa in Wadduwa. All suites are luxurious while they feature an antique four poster canopy bed with high ceilings lined with Kerala terracotta tiles. The suites are furnished with a combination of antiques and crafted items of Indian origin while the floor tiles are hand crafted. From 400 thread count cotton sheets and pillow cases, the suites also provide fluffy towels and complimentary slippers. The bathrooms are a luxury itself with a free standing hand carved bath tub, twin carved granite vanity basins, a rain shower with a polished granite screen and a stunning Venetian style mirror. All suites contain various shaded and spacious verandahs for private dining and relaxation while all suites are named after flowers of the island.

The Reef Villa & Spa is ideally placed about 25 minutes away from Bentota which is famed for its myriad of water sports. Sports include wind surfing, waterskiing, sailing, deep sea fishing, canoeing, kayaking, snorkelling and scuba diving. Excursions can also be made to the magnificent Kalutara Temple and the Richmond Castle in Palatota. If you are in the mood for longer excursions and day trips, you can plan a day trip to visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatcheries and Turtle Conservation Projects in the area, the Galle Fort and even Whale and Dolphin watching trips off the coast of Mirissa.

Location

The Reef Villa & Spa is located in 3 acres of tropical gardens along the beautiful beaches of Wadduwa which is about a 40 minute drive towards the South of Colombo. The drive from the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake takes about 1 1/2 hours while the drive along the Colombo - Galle main road is the most convenient. The Airport Expressway has lessened the drive to Colombo to a mere 15 minutes making travelling quite convenient. Regular train services are also available from Colombo Fort while the Reef Villa & Spa is located about 5 minutes away from the Wadduwa train station.
