With traces of the bygone war which ravaged the city for more than two decades still visible, historical sites in Jaffna include the Jaffna Fort and the Delft Fort. Point Pedro is also of proximity to the city.

Location

Centrally located in the Jaffna peninsula, the Blue Haven is situated along Racca road. The distance from Colombo to Jaffna is approximately 396km while there are many comfortable intercity buses that run the route on a daily basis. The drive from Colombo to Jaffna usually takes about 10-12 hours by road while there are chartered helicopter rides available internally.
