From the cave entrance, you descend roughly an hour through the darkness — headlamp lighting the way — until the tunnel opens onto the Blue Water Pond, a remarkably clear subterranean pool fed by a hidden outflow that keeps both the water and air surprisingly fresh. Local folklore ties this cave to the legend of King Ravana, adding a layer of myth to every step down.
This private, four-hour tour is guided throughout by an English-speaking guide who leads a comprehensive safety briefing before you enter. Safety helmets, life jackets, a headlamp, a first-aid kit, and drinking water and refreshments are all provided. Minimum age is 10. Hotel pick-up, drop-off, and gratuities are not included.
