Dumbara Butterscotch Pudding, a ready to eat milk pudding made with kithul jaggery and butter, in a 450ml cup that serves five. Dumbara uses kithul jaggery, the set sap of the Sri Lankan kithul palm, for its butterscotch.
Fresh milk, eggs, butter and natural vanilla are cooked with the jaggery into a smooth, creamy pudding and topped with chopped peanuts. A drizzle of kithul treacle on top suits it well.
