The base of the hill brings you to The Bungalow while half way up is the Cinnamon Museum and visitor's centre. At the top is Mount Cinnamon which is a luxurious contemporary house representing Sri Lankan culture at its best. With beautiful views of the Southern part of Sri Lanka, Mirissa Hills is ideally located within a few minutes of the Weligama Bay. The unique fact about the property is that it is still a working Cinnamon Estate producing the highest grade of Cinnamon. The journey from Colombo is about a 3-4 hour drive while there are Sri Lankan Air Taxi services available up to Koggala which is quite close to Mirissa Hills. Travel time from the historic city of Galle is approximately 30 minutes.

Mirissa Hills provides you with three sets of accommodation allowing you to relax and get pampered to your hearts content. Each property at Mirissa Hills can be rented together or even separately according to your preferred choice.
The Bungalow - This is located at the base of the hill and is the old estate house which has been restored as a perfect retreat hidden amidst many indigenous trees. With a perfect blend of old and modern furnishing, the interiors are adorned with contemporary artwork while there are three double bedrooms available for occupancy. Each room includes en-suite showers with hot/cold running water, toilets, fans and mosquito nets. The sitting room is traditionally furnished while it opens to a beautiful dining room. There is also a breakfast area that adjoins the kitchen.
The Museum - The Cinnamon Museum and Visitors' Centre is found half way up the hill and includes four guestrooms while allowing you to spend time within the museum that is dedicated to the uses as well as the history of Cinnamon. Hidden within a secluded courtyard, the four double bedrooms are air-conditioned and furnished with classical and contemporary designs. There are en-suite bathrooms with showers while the museum occupies the upper floor of the building. The courtyard is transformed to a candle-lit dining area in the night.
Mount Cinnamon - This is a contemporary villa that has a luxurious setting. Designed to suit a tropical climate, the villa consists of three double bedrooms and one single bedroom while all guestrooms are air-conditioned with en-suite toilets and showers. The beds are adorned with a special cinnamon fabric. The villa also has three sitting areas while there is a breakfast terrace outside. Mount Cinnamon also has an extra kitchen while there is also a swimming pool within the courtyard.

Most of the ingredients that are used to create the dishes at Mirissa Hillss are sourced locally while the estate also boasts of fruit and vegetable plantations that they personally care for which is also a source of the fresh produce. The choice for breakfast includes Sri Lankan or Western with the addition of a fresh fruit platter or juice. Lunch is a speciality of Sri Lankan rice and curry while afternoon tea is served upon request. Dinner can also be Western or Sri Lankan or even a mixture of both cuisines. You can also enjoy delicious crab if you place your order the night before. Vegetarian guests are also catered for while there is always a microwave available for your requirements. Fine wines are also available.

Sports' fishing is accessible while coastal cruises are also available with stops at bays for picnics and swims. Diving and snorkelling can also be arranged while instructors can be hired in the vicinity.
