Join a hands-on two-hour cooking class in Tissamaharama and get to grips with the fundamentals of traditional Sri Lankan cuisine. You'll learn how local spices are selected and combined, then roll up your sleeves and prepare a selection of authentic dishes yourself — guided in English throughout. The class is open to participants aged five and above, so it works well for families too.
At the end of the session, sit down and savour every dish you've helped create — a cookery demonstration and the finished spread are both included.
