Casa Colombo sits in the heart of Colombo, within the busy commercial neighbourhood of Bambalapitiya. It occupies a 200-year-old grand mansion — a striking contrast to the urban energy surrounding it — and has been carefully transformed into one of the city's most distinctive places to stay.

Colombo itself lies approximately 35 km from the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake and serves as the country's prime hub for road and rail transport. Airport transfers to Casa Colombo can be arranged for guests arriving from further afield.

Accommodation at Casa Colombo

The property offers 12 luxurious suites in total, each uniquely designed yet sharing a common aesthetic of elegant silky hues, polished cement floors and 15-foot-high moulded ceilings. Mosaic and sea-grass flooring runs throughout, and every piece of furnishing is an original, custom-designed item. Despite their individual layouts, all suites are generous in space and consistent in their attention to detail.

Traveller Suites

Three Traveller Suites are available, each fitted with a personal Casa Domo, queen-sized beds dressed in custom fine-thread linen with a pillow-top mattress, a waterfall shower, a selection of vanity essences, minibar, flat-screen television and HIFI by Nakamitchi. Guests also have access to an expansive selection of classic and new films via iPod, the Casa collection of lounge music across 6 genres, complimentary WiFi and 24-hour in-suite dining.

Corporate Suites

Eight Corporate Suites offer a larger footprint than the Traveller Suites, each with its own unique layout. Super king-sized beds with custom fine-thread linen and a pillow-top mattress set the tone, complemented by a personal domo, a personal laptop and office automation equipment including fax, photocopier and printer. A double-sized luxury bathtub and waterfall shower feature alongside the minibar, flat-screen television and HIFI by Nakamitchi. In-suite spa service, complimentary WiFi and 24-hour in-suite dining are also included.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suite is the largest of all, spanning 1,000 sq ft and distinguished by its private jacuzzi and patio balcony. In addition to the full range of Corporate Suite amenities — super king-sized bed, personal domo, laptop, office automations, double luxury bathtub, waterfall shower and in-suite spa service — it features a second flat-screen television in the bedroom, rounding out an experience designed for those seeking the highest level of comfort and privacy within the property.
