About this experience
Board your private air-conditioned vehicle from Mount Lavinia and head to Kithulgala, where the Kelani River cuts through dense jungle and drops into the rapids that make this stretch Sri Lanka's top white-water destination. Your guide runs a full safety briefing before you step into the raft, covering paddle technique, commands, and what to do if you capsize — then you're on the water for a one-hour rafting session through the falls.
This is a private tour, so your group has the raft and guide to yourselves. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included, along with a one-litre water bottle per person. The full experience runs approximately six and a half hours return from Mount Lavinia. Participants must be at least 12 years old. Food, gratuities, and personal expenses are not included.
