About this experience
Over seven days, this private tour tracks Sri Lanka's iconic Big 5 mammals across the island's southern coast. Board a boat at Mirissa and scan the deep blue for Blue Whales and Sperm Whales as they surface alongside your vessel. Then head inland to Udawalawe National Park, where herds of elephants gather near the reservoir, before pressing on to Yala National Park for your best chance to spot a Leopard and Sloth Bear in the wild. A full night in Colombo rounds off the itinerary before your journey home.
Your English-speaking chauffeur guide handles all transport in a private vehicle, covering fuel, parking, and highway tolls throughout. Two 500 ml water bottles per person are provided each day. Hotel accommodation, meals, and national park entrance fees are not included, giving you the freedom to book the stays and dining that suit your budget. Visa arrangements remain your responsibility.
