Climb into a 4x4 safari jeep and spend three hours exploring Kalawewa National Park, a quieter corner of Sri Lanka's wildlife circuit that rewards visitors with genuine wilderness and far fewer crowds. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, reading the terrain and guiding you towards the park's most compelling residents — including the rare tusker elephants that roam the reservoir's edge. Keep your camera ready for diverse birdlife and other wildlife moving through the scrub forest.
The private tour seats up to six passengers in your jeep, so the pace and focus stay entirely yours. Complimentary water is provided per person, and Lakpura arranges free pickup and drop-off from any location within five kilometres of the park gate. Park entrance tickets are included when the "Jeep With Tickets" option is selected. Gratuities, food, beverages, and hotel transfers beyond the five-kilometre radius are not included.
