Board a hot air balloon at dawn and drift above the Cultural Triangle as the sun rises over Dambulla and Kandalama. Over 90 minutes, you take in sweeping views of ancient rock temples, shimmering reservoirs, and dense jungle canopy — all from a quietly floating vantage point that no jeep or viewpoint can match. The flight operates subject to weather conditions, so your pilot confirms the go-ahead on the morning itself.
Lakpura arranges complimentary hotel pickup and drop-off by private air-conditioned vehicle if you're staying in Habarana, Kandalama, Sigiriya, or Dambulla. Guests must be at least 10 years old to participate. Entrance tickets, food, beverages, and gratuities are not included, so bring a light snack and some cash for tips if you'd like to reward your crew.
