Lace up your boots and head out across Mannar Island on this private three-hour birdwatching walk led by a knowledgeable guide. The island's ancient tanks — built roughly 1,500 years ago — draw vast flocks of both migratory and endemic species, and your guide points out Greater Flamingos, Black-tailed Godwits, Garganeys, Pintail Ducks, Gulls, Plovers, and Terns gathering in their hundreds.
