The Purple-Faced Leaf Monkey (Semnopithecus vetulus), also known as the Purple-Faced Gray Langur, is one of Sri Lanka’s most remarkable wildlife species. Sadly, it is also listed among the 25 most endangered primates in the world, making its conservation more important than ever.
