Waterfalls Cottage, excellent hideout away from concrete buildings and busy roads. Relaxing place to spend a weekend, built alongside a crystal clear water stream. The stream itself is a perfect place for a natural bath and two beautiful waterfalls are only 300m away on the same stream. One waterfall is only yards away from the cottage and it takes only about 15 minutes to trek through the stream bank to reach the second waterfall.
Waterfalls Cottage Dunsinane Location
The easiest way to reach the cottage is from Nuwaraeliya on Nuwaraeliya - Pundaluoya road, it's about 13km from Nuwaraeliya but due to the condition of the road it will take about 45 mins. Alternatively you can reach Pundaluoya via Thalawakele (on Hatton - Nuwaraeliya road) or via Thawalanthenna (on Peradeniya - Nuwaraeliya road). Pundaluoya is located approximately midway on Thalawakele - Thawalanthenna road. Then proceed to Nuwaraeliya on Pundaluoya - Nuwaraeliya road. The cottage is only about 1.5 km away from Pundaluoya - Nuwaraeliya road through Dunsinane tea plantation
