Known as the Palace in the hills, Amaya Hills is a cool and charming retreat that is found located high above the ancient city of Kandy which is approximately just over 100km away from Colombo over-looking the thick forest covered hills of Heerassagala. The hotel is about 7 km away from the city of Kandy and transport options are easily accessible. Kandy has a central railway station that offers local and express trains to many locations in the island while the central bus station is also at close proximity.

Amaya Hills offer 91 Superior and Deluxe rooms that has an interior depicting the historical architecture and an aura of ancient times.
