Governor`s River Lodge Wilpattu is 15-20 minutes from the Wilpattu National Park where visitors can enjoy watching the wildlife such as Elephants, sloth bears, water buffalos and spotted deer and the very special Leopard. The park is 30km from the ancient capital city of Anuradhapura and spans the border between the North Central and North Western Province.The River Lodge is bordering the Kala Oya which is ideal for boat rides. Built on a 5 acre property the River Lodge offers a kitchen along with a cook and a caretaker and runs on solar power. Cutlery is provided.
