Peredeniya Garden, Sri Lanka

Peredeniya Gardens is the finest and largest Botanical Garden of Sri Lanka. Peradeniya Gardens is set in a loop of River Mahaweli Ganga 6km southwest of Kandy, the gateway to the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. Close to the entrance of the botanical gardens is Peradeniya University, the most illustrious university of Sri Lanka established therein to serve the supreme climate and terrain, the ultimate environment to stimulate the intellectual pursuit of the undergraduates of Sri Lanka.
