Our now eco-friendly small hotel was already built as one of the first hotels in Tallinn in 1890. To this date we have tried to keep as much of the old as possible and old wooden floors, stairs, window sills and area inherent stone staircases, kept original where possible, add a specific touch to this historical building. Hotel is situated in a hip and trend setting, beautiful Kalamaja area, next to Telliskivi Creative City filled with creativity, tastes, sounds and experiences. Fairy tale-like Old town and totally renovated Balti Jaama Market are 5 minutes from us. You can enjoy many different museums, comfy cafes, high-class restaurants, quality fast food, wine- and beer breweries as well as vintage shops, Estonian design, parks, concerts, bars and cultural events within only 10-15 minutes walk. Conveniently, public transportation stops and train station is next to our house, so getting around is very easy! Why Economy? We wish to offer an environmentally friendly approach to travelling as well as reasonable prices. Since 2017 we are a proud owner of the The Green Key! To warm our water and heating system we have solar panels on the roof and air-water heat pumps, in the rooms we have refillable soap dispensers, to avoid excessive plastic mini-bottles, we use non-bleached sanitary papers and environmentally approved cleaning products and our laundry house is approved with environment and quality certificates. There are 40 rooms on 3 floors, all a little differently angular and rather to the small size, as inherent to the architecture and area back then, still offering everything necessary for a comfortable stay - free WiFi, working desk, TV and a bathroom with shower. Well behaved pets are welcome. Please note, that due to the age of this building we can not offer elevator or air conditioning.
