The iconic Red Castle, was originally built in 1923 as an elegant private home and it quickly became known as a meeting place for locals and visitors alike. In 2013, it was lovingly re-imagined as a boutique hotel, with original furniture, restored fireplaces and woodwork, light fixtures and other design elements true to the style of the 1920s. Today, Castillo Rojo offers modern comforts and luxuries, including 19 individually climate-controlled guest rooms, a wine bar, and exciting restaurant. The Castillo Rojo Hotel is a Landmark structure. It has been preserved to the fullest extent while also providing the highest quality in service and modern conveniences for our guests. Due to the property's Landmark status, the Castle does not have an elevator. But rest assured, our staff is always on hand to help you with your luggage and any other service we can provide for you.
