Blue Spring Hotel is a small, relaxed hotel in Wadduwa on Sri Lanka's south-west coast, set in a garden a short walk from the beach. The nearest railway stations on the coastal line between Colombo and Galle are Pinwatte, about 0.9 km away, and Wadduwa, about 2 km away, and Panadura is about 4 km to the north. Colombo lies roughly 30 km up the coast.
Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) is about 75 km from the hotel by road, and the drive around Colombo and down the coast usually takes 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic. The easiest way to arrive after a long flight is a private airport transfer booked in advance with Lakpura: an English-speaking driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you straight to the hotel in an air-conditioned car, van or coach sized for your group, from 2 up to 15 guests, at a fixed price for the whole vehicle rather than per seat. The rooms are air-conditioned and each has a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a kettle for tea and coffee. Some rooms have a seating area, and bathrobes and slippers are provided. Many rooms have a balcony or terrace looking over the garden.

Most days here revolve around the beach, the pool and the spa, with walks along the shore and water sports that can be arranged on this stretch of coast. Wadduwa and Panadura are close by for shops and markets, and Colombo is near enough for a day of shopping and sightseeing. Further south are Galle with its fort and the beaches of the south coast. Lakpura can arrange private transfers and day tours from the hotel.
