About this experience
Step into a private safari jeep and head out from Polonnaruwa into Wasgamuwa National Park — one of Sri Lanka's most biodiverse wildlife reserves. Your English-speaking driver and tracker leads a seven-hour journey through the park, scanning the banks of reservoirs for mugger crocodiles and water monitors, and pointing out skinks, lizards, and snakes tucked into the undergrowth. The park's high biodiversity makes every stretch of track rewarding, whether you're scanning the tree line or watching the waterways.
Hotel pickup and drop-off from Polonnaruwa is included, along with transport throughout in your private jeep and a complimentary water bottle per person.
