Twin Pond Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka
Twin Pond Anuradhapura, Sri Lanka built in a period between 8th-10th centuries for the bathing purposes of he Buddhist monks at the famous Abhayagiri Vihara. The northern pond measures 91 feet long and 51 ft in width and 14 ft in depth. The southern pond measures 132 ft in length, 51 feet in width and 17 feet in depth. Anuradhapura is a World Heritage site.
