About this experience
Leave Hikkaduwa in a private vehicle with your English-speaking chauffeur guide and head inland to Kithulgala, a riverside town best known for its fast-moving rapids and jungle trails. On day one, strap on a helmet and tackle a whitewater rafting session on the Kelani River — one of Sri Lanka's most exhilarating stretches of white water. Your guide handles logistics while you focus on the rapids. Two 500 ml water bottles per person are provided each day to keep you hydrated throughout.
Day two takes you on a cycling tour followed by a hike into the ancient Belilena caves, where the terrain shifts from open tracks to cool, narrow passages carved into the rock. At the end of the second day, your chauffeur guide transfers you back to your hotel in Hikkaduwa. Transport, fuel, highway tolls, and all taxes are covered; accommodation, meals, and entrance fees are arranged separately.
