About this experience
Board your private safari jeep at your Habarana hotel and head into Hurulu Eco Park, one of Sri Lanka's designated UNESCO Biosphere Reserves. Over three hours, your English-speaking driver and tracker guide you through dry-zone scrubland where herds of wild Sri Lankan elephants gather near water holes. Keep your camera ready — leopard, sambur deer, and grey langur are also regular residents, while the tree canopy draws both endemic and migratory birds your tracker will help you name.
The jeep is exclusively yours, so the pace suits your group. Your hotel pick-up and drop-off are included, along with all taxes and service charges. Entrance fees are paid separately in cash at the gate, and food, drinks, and gratuities are not included. Minimum age for the tour is six years.
