About this experience
Pedal from the surf town of Arugam Bay through five days of Sri Lanka's quieter interior, arriving at Habarana in the heart of the Cultural Triangle. Your Lakpura guide leads you along village foot trails and paddy-field paths, pausing to explain the ruins you'll pass and the rhythms of rural life. A support vehicle with a bike carrier and a trained cycle mechanic follows the group throughout, so mechanical trouble never stops the ride. Eight hybrid bikes — six standard and two ladies' — plus helmets are provided for the group.
Each night is spent at a three-star hotel, with meals and accommodation covered for your Lakpura host and guide. The route takes in rivers, open countryside, forest trails, and a waterfall, giving you a ground-level view of the Sigiriya countryside that no bus window can match. Personal expenses, beverages, entrance fees, and tips are not included.
