Weligama, Sri Lanka , a lovely beach in the southern coast brings about the spectacle of Stilt fishermen. The angler precariously perched on a wedge of wood fixed onto a long pole stuck deep into the sea bed in the shore go about catching fish in the evening in the coastal stretch to the north as well as south of Weligama.
