Wuxi, dubbed the 'Pearl of Taihu Lake, ' lies in Jiangsu's Yangtze River Delta, pivotal in the Taihu Lake basin via the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. Bordered by the Yangtze River, Taihu Lake, Suzhou, and Changzhou, it's part of the Suzhou-Wuxi-Changzhou metro area.
