Board your air-conditioned vehicle from your Sigiriya hotel and head east to Trincomalee, one of Sri Lanka's great natural harbours. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide leads you through the day's highlights: the vivid gopurams of Thirukoneswaram Temple perched on Swami Rock, the colonial-era ramparts of Fort Frederick, and the steaming geothermal pools of Kinniya's hot wells. Stretch out on the powdery white sands of Marble Beach before the afternoon sun peaks.
The centrepiece of the day is a boat safari out to Pigeon Island, where coral reefs and clear turquoise water sit just minutes from shore. A one-litre water bottle per person keeps you refreshed throughout. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included; entrance tickets and meals are arranged independently. The tour runs for 12 hours and is entirely private, making it ideal for families — minimum age seven — or small groups who prefer their own pace.

Don’t come to Trincomalee save your holiday
If anyone suggest you to go to Trincomalee in August because the weather is good DON’T TRUST HIM! it’s not raining okay, but it’s cloudy and windy all of the day. Totally not worth it
