About this experience
Board your private, air-conditioned vehicle for an eight-hour loop along Sri Lanka's Southern coast, starting and ending at your hotel. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide leads you to a working tea factory, where you watch leaves sorted, rolled, and dried before the scent of fresh Ceylon tea fills the room. Further along the coast, stilt fishermen balance on their cross-poles above the surf — a skill passed down through generations that remains as photogenic as it is precise. The tour is open to travellers aged five and above, so the whole family travels together.
The final stop is Galle, one of Sri Lanka's most storied cities. Walk the ramparts of Galle Fort — a UNESCO-listed Dutch colonial fortification where cannon emplacements overlook the Indian Ocean and narrow streets hide boutiques, mosques, and churches within a single square kilometre. A one-litre water bottle is provided per person. Hotel pickup and drop-off, transport, and your guide are all covered; meals, personal expenses, and gratuities are your own to arrange.
