About this experience
Board a private safari jeep at Kaudulla National Park and spend three hours tracking Sri Lanka's wildlife across open scrubland and along the shores of the ancient Kaudulla tank. Your experienced driver doubles as your tracker, reading the landscape for the large elephant herds that congregate at the reservoir, particularly in the dry season. Keep your eyes open for the albino axis deer, a rarity said to be found only in this park, and listen for the calls of tropical bird species as they move through the tree canopy above.
Your Lakpura booking includes the private jeep, your driver-tracker, and free pickup and drop-off from any location within 5 km of the park gate. Park entrance tickets are included when the "Jeep With Tickets" option is selected at checkout. Children aged five and above are welcome. Food, drinks, gratuities, and hotel transfers outside the 5 km radius are not included.
