About this experience
Step into a private, air-conditioned vehicle at your Sigiriya hotel and head south to Kandy, Sri Lanka's last royal capital. Your English-speaking chauffeur guide leads you to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic — walk through its gilded halls, ornate shrines, and moat-flanked outer walls. Next, stop at local artisan workshops where gem cutters, woodcarvers, and batik makers show their craft up close; pick up a handmade souvenir before you leave.
