The Hotel is an old fully renovated fiveteenth-century farmouse or caserio with all the specific features that characterise traditional Basque architecture, thick stone walls and age-old oak wood beams. This typical Biscaian country house also constitutes a brief but special chapter in the great history of soccer because one of the Athletic's and Spanish soccer legends, Jose Iraragorri, lived here. Ideally located in Galdakao, our hotel offers pleasant and peaceful surroundings despite being so close to the hustle and bustle of Bilbao city. It only takes about 10 minutes to travel by train to Bilbao's city centre from the Euskotren station situated at scarce 50 meters from the hotel. Euskotren and Underground lines are also connected directly. Furthermore, Bilbao's Airport is just 15 minutes away by car.
