THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto was opened in 2020 with a “Bamboo and Moon” concept. Like how the moon glimmers by facing the sun, we wish to be the dazzling light that guides your way through unforgettable encounters in Kyoto. Bamboo is the primary element used in our hotel interior. We wish to shine on you like moonlight and create lasting bonds like bamboo as we introduce you to experiences which will glisten in your memories for years to come. THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto proudly displays dyed artworks known as 'Yumekorozome', which is based on a traditional 'illusionary dye' technique, which used to only be worn by the historical emperors of Japan. Our Yumekorozome art pieces are displayed in the hope that their light sway and color-changes in sunlight will bring brightness and serenity to the hearts of our guests.
