The hotel is located in the Fresh Water Bay sector, in the middle of the hotel zone of the island and surrounded by nature. On the island, guests can partake in different ecotourism activities (hiking, diving, non-motorised water sports), as well as visit the McBean Lagoon National Park and its surroundings. There is no developed commercial sector around the hotel. It is an island frozen in time. Although there are some bars and restaurants, the shopping area only has some smaller-scale stores.
