Day-by-day itinerary

1

Day 1 — Kandy > Rangala

Morning transfer to starting point of the trail, Knuckles east. We will be crossing a lane forest after few tough and rockey climbs through Elkaduwa tea plantation. Spectaculer views and thrilling downhills will follow. We will be visiting a mini worlds end and then continue our ride towards Rangala which is our destination of the Day 2. Approximate climb - 1200m

Day 2 — Rangala > Knuckles > Kandy

After having a delicious breakfast, we will start our ride leisurely through tea plantations. 

Slowly hitting the continuous climbs accompanied by nice views and landscapes, we reach a Natural pool to refresh ourselves.Resume the ride towards Thangappuwa through abondaned truck trails through small forest covers. Local lunch at a village house which you will love for sure. Our next stop is Corbett's gap which is a panoramic view point. But ro reach there we will be riding through athe borders of Knuckles forest reserve, which is gonna be a 6 Km cross country section with naturally made difficult technical segments. 

We will meet our car afret a nice grassy single track downhill an then head back to Kandy. Total climb 1400m

Day 3 — Kandy > Nuwara Eliya

Start gaining Elevation. Today we drive to the start point of our ride to N'Eliya which was called as "Little England" by british. We will be tatking a totally different, exclusive trails to raech our destination through tea plantations and small houses. 

You will love the views and the sight of mountain ranges. We will meet our car at a certain point and thene drive the rest of the distance. A warming tea on the way. Total climb - 1200m

Day 4 — Nuwara Eliya > Haputale

Early morning departure to Horton plains and do the walk. 

Get on our saddles to experience rapid downhills. After about 30mins riding we will take a turn to hit the XC section of the ride. The devil's staircase has got its name for a reason. Most probably due to the hairpin bends. Terrain is gonna be super tough but worth doing it due to spectacular views. We will be seeing Bambarakanda falls on a side. We will meet our car after hiting the main roads and then drive to haputale. Total Climb - 800m

Day 5 — Haputale > Colombo

After breakfast at the hotel check out and transfer to Colombo.

End of Tour.
