Horton Plain National Park, Sri Lanka

Horton Plains National Park is perched on the very edge of the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka. The Horton Plains, the source of River Mahaweli, River Kelani and River Walawe is one of main watersheds of Sri Lanka. The park is home sambar deer and leopard. Horton Plains National Park is a fine place for birdwatching in Sri Lanka.
